We are here for you and taking every precaution to keep you and us safe.

COVID-19

Masks: We are happily allowing “NO” masks to be worn in the spa at this time unless you feel more comfortable doing so. We also may be wearing one if we feel the same. However, we “DO” invite you to let us know if you would like your technician to wear one for your service. Please advise us when making your appt. and again remind us when you are checking in.

We ask that you continue to “NOT” keep your appt. if you are feeling ill, showing any symptoms of any kind or have knowingly been around anyone who has been ill in the prior 72 hrs before your appt. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation as safety will continue to be our #1 priority.

General Information

In order to help us maintain a peaceful environment, we ask that cell phones be turned to silent when entering the spa.

Because at Haven of Rest we are greatly concerned with the well-being of our guests—please advise our staff of any injury, illness or health changes prior to any spa treatment. NOTE:  If you are currently undergoing treatments for ANY MEDICAL CONDITION CURRENTLY please advise us when making your appointment so that we can make the best and safest decisions while serving you. A doctor’s note may be required in some cases. 

We suggest you do not shave, exfoliate or wax 12 hours before a Body Scrub, Spa Pedicures or Men’s Facials.

Arriving 15 minutes before a service will allow you to relax, enjoy a cup of tea or water, become familiar with the facility and complete any necessary forms, as well as change into your robe if needed.

Please do not bring any valuables with you as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. However, we do provide lockers.

For the comfort and safety of all our clients, Haven of Rest Day Spa is a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment.

Scheduling Appointments

  • Please call (503) 698-1357 to schedule your appointments.
  • Please advise us if you are redeeming a gift certificate and have your gift certificate # available to secure your reservation.
  • We accommodate small groups and parties for any occasion. Call for further details.
  • When making a reservation some services will require a 50% deposit to guarantee your appt. time. Please view Cancellation & Deposit Policy below.
  • If you are running late, a phone call is appreciated. Please view the cancellation policy below.
  • Gratuities are NOT included in the price of your service(s) but are an important way to show your appreciation for the time and service you received, and are greatly appreciated.  You may either give Cash directly to your provider or let the front desk know you would like to give Cash, use a Credit/Debit Card or you may take it from the balance on your Gift Card. 

New Cancellation & Deposit Policy

Due to an unprecedented increase in clients not calling to cancel and not showing up for appointments, we have made the difficult decision to join many other health care/spa facilities in requiring a 50% deposit for our larger services.  As usual, we will not keep credit card information on file, but we will keep receipt of payment and note this payment on your appointment so that you will only need to pay the remaining amount at the time of service.  As always, if you know you are not going to be able to make it to your appointment, please let us know 24 hrs or more in advance so that we may be able to offer this appointment to someone else. Just to be clear, this deposit will be non-refundable to clients who fail to call in to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance and those who simply choose not to show up for their appointment. We understand that sometimes things happen that prevent you being able to do so.  Thank you for understanding that our service providers show up for work expecting to work and be paid for their services, as anyone would when going to a job.  Many of them are independent contractors and not employees of the spa.  When clients don’t show up, they don’t get paid.  It is nearly impossible to fill a same day/last minute appointment, and so the service provider loses out on income they expected due to the appointment being scheduled.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

  • Day Packages
  • HL Pedicures
  • 2 or more Facials at the same time
  • Ultimate & Age intervention Facials
  • Massages and Body Treatments

Please note:  Clients may use a Gift Certificate (Handwritten or Digital) to secure a reservation rather than a monetary deposit.  However, half the monetary value of the service(s) secured will be deducted from the Gift Certificate for those clients who choose not to keep their appointment or call in to cancel or reschedule.

Age Policy

Our spa welcomes guests 12 years of age and older. Anyone age 12-15 will require a parent to stay on premises during the service. If having a Massage, a parent will be required to stay in the treatment room for the duration of the treatment time.

Privacy

To ensure your privacy and comfort, our staff is properly trained in draping procedures. During all treatments your body is fully draped except for the area being treated.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of service but may be given in appreciation of excellent service.
